33 Weeks

How far along: 33 weeks
Gender: Girl
Weight gain: 28 lbs!
Maternity clothes: Leggings are my jam. I wear my jeans when we go out and skirts and dresses on Sunday are awesome. I'm excited for some warmer weather so I can wear more maxi skirts out and about.
Sleep: Pretty great lately! I sleep well until about 5:30 when I need to go to the bathroom. It always takes a while to get back to sleep, but I'll take what I can get. I forget how little sleep you get with a newborn in the house... yikes! I need to prepare myself!
Best moment this week: We decided to go swimming on Friday after being sick all week. It was just what we needed to get out of the house. McKinlee LOVES playing in the water and going down kiddie slides. I'm excited for summer and laying out by the pool... Man I think I need to readjust my thinking of what it's like having a newborn haha.
Worst moment this week: Everyone being sick.. Isn't that just the worst? Luckily I got away with just getting a head cold. After many tissues and warm baths, we're all feeling much better!
Miss anything: Putting my shoes and socks on easily haha. I asked Stafford to help me last night before we went to play in the snow. He groaned and said, "I just got McKinlee dressed and now I have to get you ready. I hope McKinlee doesn't take off her clothes while I'm getting your shoes on." haha He is awesome. If any of you have toddlers, you know how many times you put on the same pair of shoes and socks before you finally get out the door.
Movement: They are getting SO strong. She is constantly in my ribs.
Cravings: Chipotle, Jimmy Johns and chocolate milk. YUM!
Queasy or sick: Not really..
Looking forward to: Decorating for Easter FINALLY! I need to get my pregnant booty in gear and get some decorations up before the holiday is here!

We took a tour of the hospital we'll be delivering at since we were there for an ultrasound appointment. Walking the halls with fresh newborns around, seeing the rooms we'll be delivering in and spending those precious first moments with our daughter- it just made my heart melt! All the memories of my first experience in the hospital flooded back to my mind. I barely left my bed and just wanted to hold McKinlee the whole time. We were tired, we ate yummy hospital food (I'm not being sarcastic.. Maybe it was just me being hungry after giving birth.. haha), we goo-ed and gaw-ed over our brand new baby girl from Heaven... It was such a special time. I cannot wait to do it all over again. You can't get those moments back!

By the way- our ultrasound looked great! My placenta moved up and out of the way, baby girl is head down, and she's measuring just a little small- GREAT in my book! haha I am just glad that everything looks good, she's healthy and she has a little bit of hair growing. Woo hoo! 7 weeks left!
