25 Weeks

How far along: 25 Weeks
Total weight gain: 16 lbs.
Maternity clothes: Definitely moved to the belly band. I'm in desperate need of some maternity jeans. Looks like I know what I'm doing this week!
Best moment this week: Some successes in potty training with McKinlee! Maybe we'll get a few months of no diapers between kiddos. Cross your fingers!
Miss anything: Feeling comfortable all the time. There is rarely an hour long period where I do not experience some kind of discomfort, whether it's back pain, laying on my side funny, or just not being able to bend over with a big belly. I know this will only get to be more of a normal for me and more intense, so I'll enjoy the small discomforts while I can.
Movement: Lots and lots. This girl is a mover!
Food cravings: Ummm.. I did have Panera twice this week which is uncommon, but the soup and sandwich just sounded so good.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.
Have you started to show: YES! Feeling bigger and bigger everyday.
Gender: Girl!
Belly button in or out: In- but getting flatter.
Wedding ring on or off: On
Happy or moody most of the time: So happy! We've been cooped up a little bit lately because of potty training, so I'm a little surprised I haven't gone crazy. Life really is good right now though.
Looking forward to: A little DIY project next weekend. Our awesome friends gave us a toddler bed and I'm really wanting to paint it white to match the crib. We're not in too big of a hurry to put McKinlee in it, but occasionally she will try to climb out and she'll get stuck and call for help. A little worrisome for us, so I'd rather be safe than sorry. I want to give her enough time to adjust to no diapers for a little bit before we do another big transition, so I'm thinking if I start the sanding and painting process this weekend, she can be in a toddler bed in a couple weeks! Exciting stuff around here!

Lately I have been feeling so blessed and happy with life. I really have nothing to complain about. Life is just good! I'm a firm believer in finding the good in everyday life. It's easy to look at others or what we wish we had (let's just pretend I didn't spend an hour looking at houses way out of our price range last night) and want more or belittle what we have. It's all about finding joy in the journey, and really, we're still in the beginning of our journey. Happy Monday friends!
