Week 35

How far along:  35 weeks...  so close but still so far!
Total weight gain: 19 lbs.
Maternity clothes?  Mostly leggings and rotating between some maternity shirts. We've kind of been traveling, so comfy clothes are just fine- thank heavens.
Stretch marks: Not yet...
Best moment this week: I just washed all of McKinlee's clothes in Dreft and her room totally smells like baby now. All that's missing is the baby! We're getting so close to her being here!
Miss anything?  My energy! It hasn't picked up. I guess I've been lucky my whole pregnancy, but this last week I just became exhausted so easily. I've never been one for naps, but they've been feeling so good lately!
Movement? She is so cute. When I wake up to go to the bathroom she'll get the hiccups and it wakes her up so she'll start kicking me like crazy. Needless to say the sleep schedule isn't mastered yet, but it's kind of adorable that her own hiccups wake her up.
Food cravings:  I am still loving ice..  Poor Stafford has to put up with my chewing.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing really.
Have you started to show: Yep.. feeling pretty big!
Gender: Girl!
Labor signs: A few braxton hicks, but nothing too big..
Belly button in or out? ummm..  This week I would say it's flat/out. It poked all the way out for the first time this week and it's totally freaking me out!
Wedding ring on or off? on.
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy..  Our little girl is almost here and it's just so fun to think about! Stafford talks about it all the time and it makes me even more excited.
Looking forward to: Finishing my to do list! I don't know how, but it seems to keep growing. There's only so much she needs, so it's not too stressful. I also can't wait for my doctors appointment. It's been a month since our last visit and after this one we get to go every week! I do have the horrible strep test next week, so that's not fun, but it means we're closer.

  2. I craved ice the whole time I was pregnant with Austin. It was a low iron (anemia) craving. That may be why you are getting so tired too...I mean, it's normal to be tired, but you may want to ask you doctor about it. The reason why I say that is because my anemia got worse after I had Austin because you loose a lot of blood to have the baby, and it may help you to start taking iron now? I'm not saying you have a problem, just something to think about maybe?
